Technology is not the solution to all cybersecurity problems, and cybersecurity awareness has to be given equal emphasis, says Tarek El-Sherif, head of IT risk at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank.

"It is an ongoing process and we cannot focus on one specific point. We run ongoing awareness projects for our staff and our customers. It is life, and we have to manage it all the time," says El-Sherif. "Technology keeps changing and when technology changes, awareness becomes critical."
