Sustaining growth in the cybersecurity field will require recruiting those from diverse backgrounds, says Charmaine Valmonte, vice president, IT security and IT infrastructure, at Aboitiz Group, a Philippines-based conglomerate.
"Diversity allows us to be able to view things or view concepts of operational, business or technical in the cybersecurity realm differently," she says. "Having the diversity and differences in perspective allows us to grow and increase our ability to provide value."
