BlockMaster to Unveil New File Sharing Technology at RSA

BlockMaster, a leading provider of managed secure USB flash drive solutions, is about to unveil a patented new technology that will forever change high-security file-sharing - and will result in a significant savings of time and money.

BlockMaster will preview its revolutionary new technology, called ShieldShare to the world at this year's RSA in San Francisco.

PIPE, the first product derived from the ShieldShare technology, is designed to enable highly secure and convenient file-sharing over the Internet. PIPE enforces the strictest requirements of encryption and authentication for data access - and it makes it easy.

BlockMaster's central management server software SafeConsole makes setup and file-sharing for PIPE quick and secure. PIPE is used from one user's SafeConsoleReady hardware-encrypted secure USB to one or many other users managed devices, for optimal file sharing that is truly secure. With the use of PIPE, expensive infrastructure can be replaced or avoided. All PIPE data is automatically encrypted at rest and in transit, and access is granted with hardware two-factor authentication - all together avoiding time-wasting and money-draining solutions and policy changes.

"We are truly excited about the opportunities PIPE presents across industries. This is making the security required for compliance plug-and-play easy," BlockMaster's CSO and co-founder, Anders Kjellander, said. "2011 was a great year filled with success with a top 50 ranking by Deloitte for our business growth. Receiving the highest ranking of all solutions in a head-to-head review by SC Magazine US was also a great moment of pride. Our appearance at RSA this year is set to be our best one ever!"

Cutting-edge change is the theme for BlockMaster this year. Along with its innovative new technology, BlockMaster is planning to make a few other major announcements before and during the show. This is the exclusive unpublished preview:

  • CMS Products, BlockMaster's partner, will announce their massive 1TB SafeConsoleReady USB hard drive, managed by SafeConsole. This device is Opal SSC complaint; and
  • BlockMaster will introduce SafeConsole Cloud hosted, which gives optimal security for small companies in the US offering SaaS central management of SafeConsoleReady secure USB drives; and
  • RSA SecurID - the leading one-time token software is now available as a SafeConsoleReady application for and can be easily deployed on managed SafeConsoleReady devices.

The scheduled press releases will be distributed to press and wires and also be available at the BlockMaster booth #728 at the RSA 2012 in San Francisco, Feb. 27 - March 2. BlockMaster's CSO and co-founder, Anders Kjellander, will be available at the booth, during the show, for scheduled appointments as well as walk-bys.
