AlgoSec's Jeffrey Starr Says IT Environments Ever More Heterogeneous and Complex
Visibility, or a lack thereof, continues to challenge organizations as they attempt to protect their businesses by knowing which systems, applications and data they have, says Jeffrey Starr of AlgoSec, who details how centralized visibility, control and automation can help.
"Network security policy management is really at the heart of the whole security ecosystem," he says. "Now it's a question of managing multiple environments, multiple devices, very complex, heterogeneous environments."

Starr, chief marketing officer at Algo Sec, leads the strategic direction and management of the company's marketing initiatives across the globe. He has previously held executive roles at Cellebrite, 3E Company (a Verisk Analytics business), Magic Software Enterprises and Amdocs. Starr also served as a general partner with Mission Ventures, a $500 million venture capital fund, and as an analyst with Booz Allen.
