Large global organizations should have in-house forensic capabilities so they have a clear understanding of internal infrastructure and related vulnerabilities, says Sridhar Sidhu, senior vice president of enterprise Information security at Wells Fargo-India.

The value of a comprehensive incident response plan, Sidhu says, "depends on how well it is documented and how well it is actually executed ahead of time [in a test]."
