Contextual Authentication for Remote WorkforceForgeRock's Ajay Biyani on Managing Identity Governance
Contextual authentication plays an important role in enhancing security for the remote workforce, says Ajay Biyani, managing director, ASEAN at ForgeRock.
More enterprises are now adopting various forms of multifactor authentication to make the experience frictionless for end users, he says. “What we are seeing in the market is that instead of using a rudimentary plain SMS concept or asking the customer to use a hardware token, what more and more enterprises are doing is leveraging push notification or FIDO2,” he says.
In this video interview with Information Security Media Group, Biyani also discusses:
- How to ensure business continuity without degrading identity and access controls;
- How best to recognize known users;
- Common IAM mistakes to avoid.
Biyani, managing director, ASEAN at ForgeRock, is a strategist, innovator and communicator focusing on digital identity, access, security and privacy. He drives identity relationship management adoption for the ForgeRock Open Identity Stack in APAC and Japan.
