Fidessa's trading systems process $20 Trillion in transaction annually at 200 trading venues globally. In his role, Israel is responsible for Information Security, Business Continuity Planning and Audit for the Americas. He has been active in Information Security and Risk Management for over 30 years, having worked at the National Security Agency's National Computer Security Center, AT&T Bell Labs, AT&T WorldNet (an ISP), Lucent Technologies and Avaya at from New Jersey to Taipei. He has co-authored several NSA reports and research papers in information security - including one of the earliest papers on computer viruses - and most recently contributed a chapter on Business Continuity Planning to a book. Israel has a BS from the University at Albany (double major in Computer Science and Business Administration) and an MS in Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology.
